Honoring Mothers

Society’s ever-changing expectations of what ideal motherhood looks like can be exhausting—especially to a woman who might feel she’s fighting an uphill battle on her own. The Old Testament books of Ruth and 1 Samuel include two examples that show us that God’s concern and care for mothers extends to all women, not just the ones society deems “ideal.”
